If you've never been to Toledo, OR, it is well worth the drive. But more n likely you'll have to take a heavy load in and out, so financially it my not be. There is a casino, in Lincoln City, right on the beach, you can park in

I've done a few loads into/out of there. Yes very heavy. Did not know about the parking spot, will be on the lookout next time, Abby would love to play in the surf.
I think I will be taking a 34 to visit the folks after delivery in Portland. -
Jonestown, PA terminal in the shop. They got the list done but haven't figured out the shifter problem yet. This week's going to suck with the shop time but the basics are covered so it won't be a negative check at least.
Frankscottied67 Thanks this. -
Carthage, TX. After sitting 7 hours in Silsbee getting loaded, as far as I could get. At least one of my fav T/S. You can just about always find parking in here, and the spaces are extra wide. When I left out, I counted 9 trucks waiting. They were loading as fast as they could make the product. Mead/Westvaco paper. I was planning on at least getting to Little Rock today so that I did not have to push, and now, well, push on.

We live unloaded in SLC yesterday then bummed around the terminal for driver appreciation BBQ and went on in the early afternoon to pick up our next load. Grand total of 2.5 hours on duty and driving yesterday, but still decided to do an 8 hour split break as I hate the swing shift.
After the 8 hour break Abby made friends with a skunk. So now the truck is profanely foul. I soaped her up and bathed her down at the fuel island faucet and dumped two boxes of baking soda on her bed all to no avail. I just put on my cold weather gear and gloves and drove with the windows down in these 40 degree temps (I15N-I84W) toward Portland OR. Cannot wait to get unloaded tomorrow morning, then we are off to the folks place where Abby will be taking a tomato sauce dip.inkeper Thanks this. -
Scottie she is now perfectly happy, in her mind she smells pretty good, and now she gets to ride with the windows open so can stick her nose right out there. Doesn't get much better for a dog!
A21CAV, fr8monkey, MicaBay and 1 other person Thank this. -
