I actually downloaded DATS and even paid for Alstays, $10. Like that one. has the Wal-marts with truck parking. Looks like I am going to have to go a little OOR to find a truck stop b4 delivery. About 640 miles away, but alot of two lane once I get into TX, US 277 from the line all the way to Del Rio. Might have to shot either a little East or West on I-10 and find a t/s.

Still here in Del Rio. Nothing all day. Changed my pta until morning and came to a hotel, and just b4 I checked in, did another MAC 30 and all of a sudden, up pops 3 loads, 2 where DH to San Antonio and take 191 miles to Houston, and one that has been sitting in Laredo all day, and del to the Windy Monday at 2300. All of 43K lbs. If it was not for the 2300 del, I might have jumped on that one, but it really would not have helped this week, especially knowing that I would probably get a short one out of Morris on Tuesday or one that would load on Tuesday and del on Thursday, plus, I am trying to best to stay down here in the South, and the two loads that where comming out of KC this morning, both went to Company trucks that were parked near me, and emptied after me.

    Well, beer thirty time.

Yeah, I'm sitting on 600 miles for this week now, mac 30 is showing another 600 mile load but it doesn't deliver for 3 days. Just came off a 70 hour break, don't need a 34 thanks.
This is what frustrates me, I am just down the street from a Walmart distribution center that I have delivered to before, and picked up another load within the hour coming out of the same place at that time.

But mac30 is just showing loads deadhead over 100 miles out, the one preplan I got was for 750 loaded 100 mt, but just 24 hours to deliver, can't do that and the preplan was removed in the same breath it was offered anyway. The suspense is killing me, I would love to see the loadboard for myself and cherry pick the best freight rather than wait around for some planner to send me an offer that I needed to leave half an hour ago to get there on time.

That is the myth of the of the load board ... that there will suddenly be great freight for eveyone on it ... first eveyone is going to cherry pick, and if you can stack yourself out for week, cue up Ted Nugent, cuz it's gonna be a free for all ... somtimes you'll win, sometimes you'll lose.

Second, there's gotta be freight ... I was in Lathrop today. El Paso, good; Lathrop, good; Texas/Midwest/Memphis - all suck, twice as many trucks as loads; everyplace else so-so ... a load board can't produce freight, where there is no freight.

Unload tomorrow then pick up a load for delivery in AZ Monday AM ... need to run by the mothership to check out my possible next truck.
