Looks like stuck at the Memphis terminal. Had a pplan that would have ended up giving me 2700 for the week. Showed up at the cons, drop the ldd and no mt, so they took the pplan off me. They said too tight to make pu 90 miles away. The worst part, needed fuel so stopped at a place in AR that had fuel for $3.94/gal, so put on enough to get to IL. Now, 80 gals of fuel that is sitting in my tank, and no miles. I am starting to get real tired of this. This is the 6th load that has been a drop and hook for me in the last month, and show up, and not have an mt. I was all of 5 miles from the terminal where I could have grapped a trailer and got to pu on time. Talked to my DM, and told him, I am really starting to feel like I am out here alone with no support from Swift, especially after last Friday. He could not believe that there were 4 loads ready to go out of Del Rio and that the planners where not releasing them.

Update, just sent a pplan, a t-call that is due here in the mid morning. A 2 stopper, Dallas area and Houston for Friday. What a gr8 start to the new week. I see crap in Houston friday morning as far as any loads. Just sent the DM msg, need help, can not afford this crap any more and tired of feeling like no support out here.

At the Pilot just west of Jacksonville. Deliver 5:30 am tomorrow morning then picking up a 3-stop Michael's load. One stop in NC forllowed by 2 more in TN. Not exactly what I was hoping for/expecting out of JAX, but I'll take it.

Noticed that I got hit up for over $140 in over mile charges, OUCH!

Cheyenne WY at the Pilot... One of the smallest showers that I've had the displeasures of using... I think my sleeper is bigger than this shower.

@Micabay-- Did that guy happen to have a copy of the new Swift policy regarding disallowing drivers to air up their own tires?

@blsqueak-- I just got this message this morning, evidently any freight available in Texas is being saved for the local TX folk, OTR's are SOL.

Rockwall, TX next to soulmans barbecue. Lousy start to the morning. Coffee machine OOS, roach wagon, does not carry coffee. Luckily I had at least one cup still in the thermos. The person that was supposed to t-call the load, decided to just take his time. At 7:30 he was 170 miles away. SHowed up in 5 hours. Put me behind by 2 hours. Friday morning should be interesting. See what happens as far as freight. Have to get the truck into KW. Found out today that a brake valve is on the recall list.
