At the Pilot in Dunnigan, CA Spent last night at a Pilot near Medford, OR. A bit of snow on the ground the last 10 miles in OR on I-5, except for the knucklehead plow driver(s) who blocked both wet lanes (NO SNOW) for the final 5 miles leaving OR and then wouldn't get off the road til the first exit in CA.

Grabbed a load that picks up in Daly City tomorrow morning and delivers Wed morning in Las Vegas. Means I'll have to drive at night/sleep during the day (something I'm LOATHE to do) but it will add some much needed miles to an otherwise pathetic week AND get me closer to home (PHX) for hometime on Friday. I will not hesitate to drop my MT at the Vegas drop yard and bobtail home if I have to.

Back to work after 8 days at home. Thought it might turn into 9 days as freight is very soft they are saying. But we got a quick load picking up Tues in the Sierra foothills going to Yuma AZ for the Wednesday pay period cutoff which was nice of the planner.

1099 came in the mail, got it and the tax organizer all sent off to the tax guy. Life is good.

Here is an example of messages I get throughout the day, that thinking they are important, have to pull over somewhere to read it and thus lose time and distance over these stupid messages lol

Well, I'm in the Sacramento area with a PTA of 0800 tomorrow morning.
I didn't set the PTA, they did it for me.
I'm hoping for a load out sometime tomorrow, but who knows with those kinds of numbers for the Lathrop area.

At least I am with family, so an extra day won't hurt - except for that next pay check.

Scottie why don't you let the q/c read them to you on the fly to see if you need to stop first...wait, you disconnected the speaker option right?

Here at the receiver in Largo. Mac 30 last night showed a preloaded trailer sitting in Ocala that was loaded yesterday, del in Miami on Wednesday. With my hours, I would have gotten to Miami with about 4 hours left on the 70 then made to sit there. I know that there are t/s around, just finding them. The receiver was nice enough to give me a place to park here behind a building with some nice shade. I know that there is a t/s about 7 miles from me, but not real sure about the parking, or the area, so just sit here where it is very quiet. Pushed out my PTA for tomorrow morning, then will have over 11 on 70 and pu another 11 at midnight Weds. I think with that a better chance of getting a decent load.
