@ Petro on I20 x5 in LA. Heading to Dollar dc in Indianola, MS again. this is a drop, so im going to get there a day early and be that guy. i need this run in before midnight tomorrow, ya know.. ive got 245mi left to run, and i coulda made it there tonight but hunger got the best of me.. darn bbq bilboards made me hungry for the past 100mi..
tomorrow im looking at wally world parking lot, or hoping to get another crown cork n seal empty can load going to cali. i got that load out of there lzst time i was in the area and its a kick A load, 5400lbs and 1250mi.. cha-ching.
this load here is nice, 6610lbs, and getting 7.6mpg even with this darn wind. lastnight was horrid, parked on the shoulder of a road, wind so bad it reminded me of deep sea fishing, my truck rocming back n forth reL bad, maybe slept 3hrs and awoke to this load.. sweek.

my woman called me today.. baby when ya coming home? i miss you real bad this ti e and need/want you.. awww i felt special, then it hit me.. my woman is in that mood.. #### i better get home asap or some other dude is gonna steal her from me... lol ohh well, maybe then he can foot the bill and ill send him a w9.. haha

 

Oh man if you just could have made it to the Dollar DC in Indianola.... you could do your 10 hour break right there on their front lot.

South Side Chicago, the snow is really coming down. I set my PTA for tomorrow, DM said no way and changed it back, have been getting preplans loaded up in my inbox like crazy while I was inside watching the big screen.

 

sitting at flying j here in albuquerque nm. got about 660 miles to go to delivery and have to be there friday morning at 8am. dm said no esrly delivery. so !,ll run 6 hours next two days and see what i can find around carrollton tx

I had a stacked pplan after a drop which turned out to be a live unload, so now it is very tight indeed.
I can probably make it if I trim my break times by a lot - not sure yet if I'll do that. I might just Mac22 it to a couple hours later.
If I'm lucky I'll get stalled for several hours with weather.

I'm in IA headed for PA, just following the storm.

 

Left OKC terminal this morning, been SB all day. Have a full 11, drinks, and a full bag of sunflower seeds. Hopefully its clear in Ohio, so I can see the sun rise. Deliver in Pitt by 10. Too easy.

I have been told to park as close as possible to where I dropped off so I don't "waste resources" driving to a truck stop.

 

dollar gen dc waiting on these guys to give me anok to drop.. was asked when my apt time was... uhh i was told to get this here asap ma'am.. hmmm i cant find yer apt time on my paper... uhhh thats cause its not till tomorrow at 0001... lol... shhhhh dont say a word, im playin dumb trucker today.. well more so today than most.

i need an mty out of here so i can get a mac 30 load, but im seeing other swifties bobtailing out, not good... but then again they are company drivers so they may not care if they sit ..? and of course ya walk up to them and ask them a question and ya get a cold shoulder.. pffft,
the guard here was complaining to their office up front about a swift driver that was being rude trying to do a drop... then i walk in.. yes im w/ swift.. i get the eye roll... lol.

 

thats because they want to waste the fuel resource having you run around looking for empty ghost trailers.. common driver you know this... lol
