Norfolk, NE, hiding out behind a combination C-store/fuel stop. I deliver tomorrow morning 2 miles from here.

Then it's off to stop #2 a day early (n-central KS), then to s-central KS to deliver early Tues morning.
Plus-1 expected me to deliver stop #2 0600 Tuesday then stop #3 200 miles away (on 2-lane roads) by 10:30 same day. Crackhead program!

Yes, it seems that 'crack-head' program thinks we can average 60 miles per hour on whatever road or route we are on.

Here in Green River, UT. Sent in MAC 34 for a second time updating information, and eve when sent in my loaded call on Friday I put in that trainee is not ready for team yet. Sent in 19 hours available when mt at 0830 Monday morning. Just a little while ago, received a pplan. A load that has been sitting on the yard since the 11th. It has a first stop at 0600 on Tuesday 1300 miles away, in St Peters, MO. Could someone please tell me, how I was supposed to do that, even as a team, leaving out at 0930, Mountain time, and being 1300 miles by 0600 CT. This is load that should have left today with a team, or at least on Saturday with a solo. I was also told that because my student has 50 hours, the system already says that he is ready to team.

    Dixon, IL.

I was given a window of time to deliver, but it turned out that all deliveries are by appointment only.
24 hours in advance, yet my load both picked up and delivered today. A 100 mile load.
No one called the receiver to schedule me.
So I waited several hours to be the last unloaded.

    No pplan yet.

Was sent a preplan that picks up 93 miles away from my last delivery on the 16th and delivers near Cleveland on the 18th. Problem was it didn't had a delivery appointment. So, I turned it down with a comment saying "resend with a delivery appointment time".

Then my new DM send me a message telling to just accept the load, which I ignore.

Then the PP gets sent again, this time with a t-call in Columbus, which I accept as soon as I stop the truck. I'll get it to Columbus by Wednesday night, gonna be a very nice week.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

My time in the Phoenix reefer fleet was VERY short lived.

After several examples (such as above) of "micro management" by my new DM I transfered back to my old DM. If I'm gonna be stuck running van 48 states then I'm gonna do it MY WAY!

Iowa, somewhere at a Pilot on I-80.

Live load that picked up at 2000 delivering to a Walmart DC in KS tomorrow.
I pretty much knew I couldn't drive all night to make a delivery by 0530, so I pushed out the delivery time to give more time.
After all, a drop at Walmart usually has until midnight.
Glad I did. I was up too early today to pull an all-nighter. Plus, I hate driving at night.

Sacramento to Seattle, Seattle to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City to Los Angeles. The Seattle to Salt Lake picked up on Friday delivered on Monday, anyone would think would be a slam dunk for that few miles for that many days. But of course Mr. Murphy had to intervene. I dropped the trailer in the Salt Lake terminal Sunday and bobtailed out til the Monday afternoon delivery. Right away when the customer at the final said there was a problem I sent a message asking for a tcall so I could get my next load. 14 tick ticking away while they make a decision, customer decides to accept the product then boom CSR sends message to tcall load lol.
Then of course every empty trailer I hooked up to on the yard was spoken for so more time ticking away. Finally got my next load but they said there was no window for delivery. Then the snow started coming down so sent mac 22 they got me tcalled in Vegas.
