Meant to mention that on the route from Vegas to Oregon, we traveled on the Extraterrestrial Highway lol.
So got up to delivery no problems, got another offer, 212 empty to 1950 loaded, jammed over to the shipper and parked it outside their gates all day and all night waiting for them to come to work bright and early this morning, (Monday). Checked in, they don't need the load picked up til Thursday now. I knew I should have gone 30 miles to the truck stop for a shower last night, but my clocks were showing 40 hours left and the 2000 miles was going to be needing all of that time including the required Swift 30 minute pretrips. So now I'm sitting on 1000 miles loaded for the week and 360 empty, 2 preplans already came in for delivery Thursday (after pay period cutoff).

Got the the accident stuff squared away. Only cost me $250 (thank you deductible buy down). Sittin in Iowa waiting to pick up my load tommorrow, and deliver in North Carolina 1091 loaded miles on thursday. I'm curious , if I buy fuel under this load tommorrow, but deliver on thursday. Will the fuel purchase come out of this settlement, or the settlement under wit h the trip pays? I called payroll and they told me it gets charged when the trip pays, because I'm dispatched. After I deliver, I'm headed to Greer to get repairs done from the accident, while I'm on hometime.

Fuel is attached to the trip, deducted from the same settlement that the trip pays ... sitting at a Pilot on the OK/AR border, taking 34 ... looking for work tomorrow, that will pay this week.

    ucallihaul Thanks this.

At the J in Jackson, MS. First time here, could not make it over for the left hand exit for the Pilot.

Delivered in New Iberia this morning, after turning down 3 preplans (one twice) I found something (on Mac 30) that I wanted to run. Port Allen, LA to Union, MO. Delivers Wed morning.

Heading for some home time near Sacramento, CA tomorrow, a load going to Stockton.
It was supposed to be pre-loaded but turned out to be a live load. Luckily they were very quick about it, in and out in about 45 minutes.
A very tight schedule since I had to take a 10 midway through, but I gained the rest of the delivery window (another 45 minutes) with a mac22.

In MO at a rest area. Gotta split my logs twice to get load there on time, with the hours rolling back on my 70. Haven't taken a reset in two weeks. No worries though, this is my load to home sweet home.
