Well, that time I had forgotten to set my alarm. The meanie wouldn't have helped.
But it seems the days off may not have been punishment.
I took my home time while under a load that had rescheduled the delivery to such a late date that it allowed me to get my home time before I delivered.
I just got a very small load this morning, delivered it and waited for another.
The next one caused me to call my DM to clarify a couple things, and he asked if I had ever gotten my home time. Apparently it was never registered in the system.
Perhaps, after I delivered that 'home-time-load', they thought I went on home time at that point.
My DM has said nothing about that last service failure.
And my on-time percentage is at 98.64%, so it is still within Gold ranking.
Good night from...

home for a couple days, finished training and waiting for a truck, have to call tomorrow to see if one is ready for me Thursday. Hopefully I wont have to wait too long to get going since im not making money sitting at home.
-
hope the wait not too long. at least you got some home time. good luck on going solo. be safe.

My load wasn't due til tomorrow at 0900 but I went over there anyway today about 1800 and gave them the paperwork. They accepted early delivery but no empties, probably why Swift wanted it delivered in the morning when some trailers would be available.

thanks im ready, they called me yesterday morning while I was asleep and said I had an appointment for Wednesday to test out, I went up and talked to the lady to see if I could do my road test and backing early, the lady who does the test said she was full but if someone cancels she would come get me, I was waiting around until 5 or so for my wife to show up anyway. She came up and told me to hop in since someone canceled from the 2nd wave or just didnt show up. I tested out and they said no trucks were available and to come back and check Thursday, she realized I lived a couple hours away so she said I can just call instead of wasting my time driving back and forth. I hope when I call tomorrow they will tell me a truck will be there waiting for me. I know I need to also ask about an inverter being installed since I have sleep apnea.dptrucker Thanks this.

The service failure was given to you by the lovely and talented Plus One program. I've had it happen to me as well. Delivered the load a full day early, but the computer gave me a SF based on the made up Plus One delivery time. I just sent a qualcom message to my DL and he removed the SF.
So don't wait around for your DL to ask you about it. Explain it to your DL and it should be voided. -
Well, then I drove by you today ... Casino parking lot in the desert.
-
You close to state line then? I drove through Vegas on the 15 coming home to the terminal. I saw a lot of trucks parked at the Gold strike and a couple others and thought those might be places I might stop at in the future.

Further south .. on the 10. But yeah, there's generally more parking and available later at casinos.

Swift didn't count your time at home as hometime because you were still under a load. A quirk of the system.
