Wakeeny, KS. Woke this morning with that same pplan again, so said the heck with it, took it. BT to Denver for a trailer and back up to Cheyenne. What was supposed to be 719 miles, Swifts routing, 790, down 287 to I-40. Mine, 745, I-70 to Salina and down. Thought there was a window on the delivery since there was a window on the pu. Got ldd at 1400 CDT and was told that no, delivery is 1300. So 790 miles on Swifts route, in 23 hours, avg speed about 50, if lucky. Sent MAC 22 and got back msg, my PTA was changed for being about 30 minutes late.
Good night from...

If you send a mac22 and the only message back is a PTA update, there is usually a window.
I've been lied to before about windows... usually from weekend or after hours people. -
after waiting most of afternoon for the shop to say my truck is ready, went in and talked to nite shop desk and says they have ne record of my truck, so i told the foreman what issues i had and he diagnose an out of round front tires. both steers need to be balanced and they don't do it here. also checked fuse for the trailer abs in the truck and that works,so now having the trailer guy look at trailer. been up since one this morning.

I only had one after hour guy tell me a window, normally "no its this time only sharp" the load I dropped the other night at sams was scheduled for 00:01 but when I said I would be late because of the walmart taking forever to unload "no you have until 7am"
I was woken up with a preplan text, said pickup in Crocket, CA at 02:20 and dropping in Tukwila, WA on the 3rd, I was like f that im going home on the 30th, so I went back to sleep. Woke up a couple hours later and see I have 3 messages on the qualcomm and they didnt remove the load but there was a message to tcall it in Lathrop terminal. Its only 36miles to pickup where im at and another 70ish to the terminal so unless they give me another quick load then miles are going to suck. Guess I should get the higher mileage pay at least but still not a lot.
Anyway still sitting in the costco lot, saw a Gordon truck joined next to me, I called to see if I can pick that load up earlier and of course the after hour guy said no, im going to leave here at midnight and get there a little early anyway, I got a tad confused on directions since the qualcomm said to take a couple different streets and stay off a couple due to fines bla bla then the GPS takes me on some of those streets, going to get there early to figure out the route correctly, been looking at Google Maps and I dont see the problem with any of the directions.
I also have to make a stop and get me a blinker bulb, my front passenger blinker burnt out, i could just try and make it to the terminal and if im still there when shop opens go get a bulb from them, i just have to hope I dont get stopped during the night by smokey -
Just don't turn that direction lol

Back at Johnson's Corner.
I get to Walmart at 0700 and was told they didn't need us this morning after all, and come back at 1600.
OK.
So when I get back there at 1600 I'll have a whopping 4 hours left on my 14. -
C&H sugar docked me at 2, did shift changes and breaks then finally loaded me, I got to Lathrop after my next load appointment time and did a mac22 a little earlier, now sitting at this place on standby waiting to get loaded with 4 hours left on my 14 and I tcall this one in Lathrop too, a whole 20 miles or so total
I feel like im getting dicked around, told my DL that and he replied "sometimes you have to take a step back and help planners to get forward" thats some bull -
Ran down the 93 miles to the shipper this AM, had a little time so thought to grab $150 bucks worth of fuel and clean the windshields whatnot, that's when I see a big red ocean under my truck. Broken hose clamp, same clamp that broke last time I think a couple years back. I knew at that time I should have bought 2 clamps in case.... Anyway, the cashier chick gave me her car keys so I could go on down to the Freightliner dealer to see if they had any clamps like that. They had 3 ($6.99 each), I bought them lol. Fixed and dumped in some coolant to top off, back up and running for $60 bucks. I'm sure a road service would have been in the $hundreds$.
Loaded to the gills, 79,220. I run out of hours on this load by Monday unless I can get across the border, I could pick up hours from 7 days ago instead of 8 on the US side. Talked to the Canadian expert in Lewiston about it, I will technically be in US violation when/if my logs are checked next week back on the American side, but to give him a call if they give me any static because it is indeed legal. -
Muskegee, OK. After busting my hump this morning and showing up about 10 mins past the so called apt time, was told that I was only 3 days early. Well, they did take it, and then sent in mt call, get a msg back, load was assigned to t-call, can not e-call. Called in, and they did see it on the assignment. Only problem, I was never told about it. It was supposed to t-call in KC. I think that someone actually forgot to put it in the system since I did a MAC 30 this morning, and I was getting offers for OKC. Now have a load to t-call in Cols on Monday morning, supposed to be 7 a.m., send in ldd call with eta of 0900 since I am working off the 70, like 5.25 hours tomorrow, 5.45 hours on Sunday. Get back a msg, running late, sent mac 22. I am not sending in a MAC 22 for a t-call load.
scottied67 Thanks this. -
I sat at the last shipper in tracy, ca for over 5 hours, kept hounding them I was running out of hours, they said since I was late im on standby, not my fault im late when I had to spend an extra few hours at the C&H plant, finally started loading me with 1hr and 20min left on my 14, DL said they couldnt get a driver to take it over since they are so overbooked in the area, finished loading with 39min left, went inside and waited another 10 to get my paperwork, got back to the truck slid my tandems quickly and did my loaded call and made it to the lathrop terminal and backed in with 1 minute to spare on my 14, have to do my 10 hour break then head out and scale the load before they will tcall it.
Worst is that its over 100 degrees and my AC still is fuked up so im roasting in the heat not able to fall asleep, shop said they wont look at my truck until wednesday. I called up my DL and had a little chat about some of my issues, he promised he would have me a new truck after my home time. Im supposed to be available in 6 hours for my pta and doubt im going to get enough rest. The last couple days they are dicking me around and im not making any money that I needed to make to take my 4 days off I had planned. For now on im going to give my cell to the shippers/recievers and tell them to call me when im loaded and take a nap in between them. I have had 3 drops in the last 3 weeks 2 being tcalls, everything has been live and taking forever. Im starting to get very frustrated with the companyscottied67 Thanks this.
