I slept on the street next to Miller and ended up getting a load there this morning, just tcalled it in Albuquerque, NM and doesnt deliver until Tuesday in El paso, anyone know if this terminal is decent on freight right now? Last time I was here I got out quick but it seems freight sucks in a lot of places right now, some drivers were complaining in Denver about no loads for a couple days but then again there's always those drivers.
Man it took me 3 times today to scale the beer load, was a load full of kegs, this is the first time I ever even had to re weigh and this one took a 3rd. Normally I have been pretty good or just lucky guessing the tandems based on how the load looks, ohwell got legal within a few minutes and got out. -
At the 90, Ahold USA in Assonet NA with a load of baked beans. Still laughing at that one.

Sitting at the loves in jackson tn. Had a pickup time of 0600 at Kellogg this morning I get there at 0545 and was told load went be ready for at least 3 hours. Great. So they told me to park across the street. Go over there and I call the contact number and no answer. I left a message if they would call when load was done. 0900 rolls around so I go back over there and they guy told me the load isnt even scheduled to be done till 1400. Great. I told told my dm im going to a truck stop and lefted. They gave me apparently a good number to call so I messaged my dm and asked if this was a real appointment time or a window that plus one "helped" and got a one word message back and it was window. Figures so I busted my butt yesterday and got 5 miles from the shipper and now im watching my 14 tick away. If it wasnt for the load going to larado I would be trying to get rid of it. So once I get the load I will sent a mac 22 and tell them i will get there when I can. So much for trip planning lol.

I had gotten into town about 12 hours early for delivery. The freight gods smiled and was offered a 200 mt 900 loaded (that's ok for the deadhead, my last one was 1 mile mt 1089 loaded so right at 10%). I got to the drop, a Swifty pulled in behind me. I jammed around and parked my trailer in Zone D then checked in while Swifty was lowering his landing gear what not next to me. He checked in right after me but they ushered him out faster than I could drop my trailer. We were sort of racing over to Zone E for mt's I cut a corner and parked in front of the 1st mt Swift trailer and sent mt call. He went on to the next one and was hooked up and left while I got the infamous, "trailer not available" message. I pulled out and went to go look for another trailer, that one came back "Illegal Trailer". Ended up bobtailing 30 miles to get another trailer which was missing a light up top so had to wait and hour and a half for a Boss Shop to open up. Then I got to the shipper and my pickup numbers don't match. Down to 4 hours left for my live load 4 trucks ahead of me.

Got a load from Golden, CO to Montebello, CA.
Hopefully from down there I can get a load, finally, to my home time to drop off my daughter.
I picked it up and headed for TA West. I didn't want to deal with Friday evening traffic on I70 west, and I have plenty of time on this load.
It delivers 8/5 @ 0800.
