wolfy... just expect a call from pheonix (think its trailer security) when you take truck home while under a load. better yet, don't answer it if you don't know the number. i spent nite at a pilot in hesperia after fueling there and guy woke my ### up thinking i was at home. i was about 15 miles from my moms place. i use her address as my residence.

Haha, last week my husband was going to park his truck at a BP station a few miles from our house. I had just finished vaccuming and I heard the dogs barking. I looked outside and my husbands truck and trailer was parked in front of my house

from what im told it depends on the DM if you can take a truck home
My DM just says no if hauling a load so far

soon they are supposed to build a Walmart in Tehachapi so that would be one more place close to home we might just haul loads too, they are building a dollar general right now across the street from my place but I cant really do those accounts with my bad back

Had home time set for Thursday. Emptied out 1000 miles from home, brilliant. But I knew that would happen, that's why I set hometime for Thursday when I really needed to be home Monday. So next preplan comes in, pickup this load Friday and deliver Monday near the house, no appointment yet (red flag). Beggars cannot be choosers so, took it. Got loaded started breaking for home, and boom, appointment set for Tuesday. Wow 5 days for 1000 mile run. The planners have done gone full retartd, you never go full retartd! I asked for a tcall, no response, so I sent another message, "I can deliver Monday but not Tuesday." Now they respond with LOAD APPOINTMENT SET FOR TUESDAY. Yeah I know, that's why I want a tcall. No response. This really fouls things up at home my ex is livid tearing me up on facebook. The only good thing out of it was it gave me time to stop at the casino and take 1.5 times more money out of there than I took in to the craps table. That's twice in a row that I have done that visiting them there at the Rainbow in West Wendover NV. I'm still in Nevada today as we had heard on the CB a terrible wreck westbound at the 25 yardstick had the freeway shutdown. Will leave later tonight and drop trailer at Lathrop and bobtail around hometown for the day then back to work Tuesday.

at least you have that option to drop the trailer for a day, hell just head there now and drop it and go home for a couple days then back and take the load.
Why they cant tcall is stupid, they have done that to me on hometime, the last home time they sent me on a load from Lathrop to Chatsworth only 309 miles or so and had 3 days and a day later than my home time and they refused to tcall when i said I would have it there in 1 day.

My home time is set for tomorrow but I just want to get another load tomorrow heading near home and do a 34 then head back out since I want to do home time again around the 23rd for my anniversary.

Hubby ran out of driving hours. He could have probably made it to the destination, but not there and whom. Since home was just slightly out of the way and the load didn't have to be delivered until the next day hubby drove home and shut down and delivered the next day. That actually gave hubby Sunday night thru thursday morning at home
