Got a pplan from the load board, pu in Eloy and del in OKC Monday morning. Not the greatest weekend run, but it is better than what I was getting from PHX. Nothing. Went out to the truck to accept and there was a message about taking my MT to the terminal. Soon as accepted, sent the disp and the trailer was assigned to me. So much for taking my trailer there. I was not about having to later run around looking for one

I'm right on your tail, should be in WW sometime this afternoon setting up for a SLC delivery in the morning. Gonna try to take some more of those purple chips out of the casino.

Just use your best judgement on the route you want to take.

Yes they asked me about 40 times to bring my mt trailer back to the PHX terminal last time I was there. I was on my DM to hurry up and get me a load so I could keep the trailer.

Who do I talk to about getting on the load board? My DM was telling me about this exciting new program and I told her I already knew about it, then she gave me Mystic's number.

That's why she gave you my number ... Call me, I'll spill my guts. As of 3 weeks ago there were 34 drivers with the broker. We had done just over 200 loads to date with the broker ... 10% of them by me.

    You look at the route???

Rest stop in UT, 20 miles from my drop ... Can Mac 30 in another 20 minutes.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

got my first walmart load going from Hermiston, OR to Longview, WA. It was scheduled to deliver tomorrow at 1600 but the dispatcher said I was the only truck and could drop early so I got there quick and docked it then called to give my status and the dispatcher was like "you already got there?" then headed back but pulled over at the rest area about 25 miles from the DC, I had just enough time on my 14 to make it to the gates of the DC but since they wont allow me to take my 10 on the property I decided to stop earlier. I could drop the MT in off duty but bobtailing a few miles to the Pilot would of put me in violation.
Spent over a hour looking for parking, parking in Oregon after dark is tough sometimes, rest areas were full, im on the off ramp

Eloy, AZ. Picked up this load, and after pretty much a sleepless night, decided to just park until morning. I have until Monday to get to OKC

    Loveland, CO at Johnson's Corner.

My load out of Casper WY this morning was canceled. I guess 2 of us were assigned the same load.
Got a load a couple hours later.
230 miles mt to Loveland Sam's DC, going to a Sam's in Provo UT tomorrow night.
And the DC has so many mt Swift trailers I had to make a stop on the way to drop off my mt so I could bobtail in.

I'm glad it's not going to CA. This trailer is very tail heavy. I'm going to have to slide the tandems to about the 18th hole to get it legal.

Had the A/C go out once while I was sleeping. Nothing like going to bed nice and cool then waking up an hour or so later with the heater on. Freaking bed was a pond of sweat!

I hear ya, that volvo I had with no AC for a month....

Now that I have had good AC for over a month now I have idled maybe a total of less than 10 hours, once I had AC they kept sending me to cool areas, its nice doing these dedicated runs in oregon since its nice and cool at night, my idle % should be down under 20% by now since it was 27% more than a couple weeks ago.

Anyway goodnight from Hermiston, OR once again, I love these round trips, easy 450+ miles each day, was told originally they wanted me to at least Sunday, hopefully they let me go a little longer.
