calling in is bullcrap, I looked at my phone info today and I have used up 65% of my minutes just being mostly on hold calling DM's but if I send a macro it takes them hours to respond half the time too...

Here in OKC. Spend a very nice cool night last night in Vaughn, NM. Got up this morning to a cool 64. Got here, did a MAC 30, nice load to pick up in Kansas around noon, then off to Hermiston for a Wednesday drop. I will definitely have it in the wind so that it can get on this weeks pay. Then it will be time to start to work my way home for the 2nd of Sep.

at fuelstop at pilot in perry ut. 285 more mile to go for delivery at 1630 tomorrow. i was westbpound 80 about 10 miles from i-84 exit when i had a few truck drivers and a 4-wheeler passanger point to my rear. didn't see or feel any problems, so i decided to pull over and check anyways. rear tandem tire on trailer lost its cap somewhere. tire still holding air and i didn't see or feel it come off. decided to roll to my fuelstop before calling onroad. hopefully they show up sooner than last time lol

Finished unloading at 2300 last night so I set my PTA for 1100 this morning.
My phone woke me up at around 0300 with a pplan going to San Bernardino, so I went back to sleep.
I woke up at around 0930 and took a look at it. Delivering at 1000, 650 miles - picking up at Swift which was an hour in the opposite direction.
There was a message from a planner at 0927 that said my PTA has passed and please accept the pplan asap.
I adjusted the time for delivery and it was taken off me.

A few minutes later I get another pplan headed for Missoula MT. I grabbed it.
    Much better than SoCal.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

Coming out of Ogden UT to Ontario CA saw a terrible tour bus crashed in the ditch I-15 Northbound which that side had about a 30 mile backup. Then again around Hesperia Scales poor NB was backed up due to the hillside on fire.

Had been hitting mac30 all day and night while under the load, finally in the I-15 brake check area got a preplan to pick up, turn and burn out of LA to Loveland CO. Pickup between 1000 and 2215-- "Please only accept if you can pickup on time, Swift is fined for late pickup". Bear in mind the time was about 2030 when I accepted this load. Then when I got there they had no empties so I quickly sent a mac22 for pickup 0015 lol they said that was acceptable. Right then the yard jockey pulled an empty from the docks so that saved my night. I still had about 4 hours left to drive but knew I didn't want to sit in that NB traffic jam. On the way past Ontario TA East I saw from the freeway there was lots of parking so got the load and shut down in there.

Made it back to Mesquite NV and gave the crap table some more of their money back. 2 hour break here, drive another 250-300 and shut down for 8 sleeper and run a similar amount again and stop for 2 then finish for final tomorrow night.

Hermiston, OR? If so then maybe if im still doing surge we can meet up at the pilot or space age

I am enjoying the walmart loads, consistent 450-500 miles a day and easy peasy runs. take off at 8am and parked bobtailed at the pilot by 5-6pm for the night. I would keep doing this for awhile if they would let me but my luck they will cut me loose soon.
