    Last nite at home. First time bringing the truck thru the house for hometime...went well as there is a mcDonalds with truck parking about half a mile from the house....10 bucks a nite but worth it....had a load that delivered near the crib and will be loading tomorow about 5 miles from here and then off we go to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

    Will be in Lancaster the next few nights, subbing on the shuttle, An easy 500 miles a day for the next 5 days.

    Division Creek rest area, US395 in California, just south of Big Pine.

    Only sounds are traffic going by and the far-off hum of that Werner's APU. All other trucks in here are quiet. I was parked next to Werner and got tired of listening to that APU. Rather than let it ruin my night (he's not doing anything wrong) I chose to eliminate the problem. I moved. Without making a big ol' deal about it.
