I don't know where I'm at anymore ... drive, stop, get something, drive it somewhere, stop, sleep, get up drive.

Shreveport, on a 10 after a two stop p/u this morning. Roll out at midnight, to let my hours catch up with me and drop in Dallas before 3am ... take an 8 split, p/u at noon head for San Antonio for 9 PM unload ... will finish off a run of 12,441 paid miles over the last 4 weeks.

    fr8monkey and dptrucker Thank this.

I'm sure the money is good, with those miles.
But, I'm not sure it's really worth it.

You are talking 12.5k paid miles, which is really more like 14k in reality. Is that just loaded miles, or mt as well?
Nominal, 3500 per week for a solo driver - 500 per day, including all the loads/unloads etc.
    That is simply crazy.

It seems more like an obsession, than a job or lifestyle.
And obsessions can be fatal - to one party or another.

    porterville...walmart dc?

Sitting in Lathrop picking up a tcall that delivers at the costco dc in tracy at 6am. Went back to red bluff and got another mt then went over to safeway in west sac for a mt there and on my way to Lathrop I decided to stop at the flying j in Lodi to get a shower and stuff. When I was at the terminal a couple days ago the bathroom was a total wreck and disgusting, toilet paper all over the floor, toilets filthy....I didnt even bother to check the showers so this time since I have a couple shower credits built up I would just get me a decent shower.

Scanned in my bols I had laying around plus that parking receipt and then took a look at my trips pending pay and I have never had a list so long before which is a nice thing, I still have to calc it up to see where im at total for the week so far.

lol sounds like my week minus the ladies and the picnic area, this is definitely my busiest week in a long time but I need the money so its nice and welcomed. Calced up my trips pending and not including todays and tomorrows im at over $900 for the week so I might just see that very first $1k check to catch up on all my bills.

Tried to run hard the Swift way earlier this month, got red shut down light showing a problem with turbo actuator and blew out the oil pressure sensor from pushing the old girl so hard. Not only that but the fuel mpgs were in the 5's. Slowed her back down to 54 all last week and we are back in the 8's mpg.

Did a mac 30, for once there were 3 load offers. I called in on the one with the shortest deadhead, the times were agreeable to me so I hit reply/accept and the load info definitely was not agreeable to me so had to go through a bunch of red tape to get that load removed.

Then they sent me a load offer not too long ago, 168 mt 821 loaded, I will have 19.5 hours available to do it in with live load, various road work en route, Monteagle, I just don't think it is doable so I turned that one down.

got a little shake to my truck, a driver backed into my trailer and just took off before I could get dressed and get out of the truck, I got out my flashlight and looked at the trailer very carefully but cant find any damage so he must of hit it just right. Taking off is a wuss way of handling things, he didnt even bother to look or anything. There are 2 spots open next to me plus these spots are angled so either he is new or just not paying attention. If he would of stayed put then he would of seen there was no damage to report and he could of had his spot. I could report it but "it was a white swift truck that backed into me and I cant pinpoint any noticeable damage" lol yeah that would get far...there was several trucks driving around when I got out to look.
