Oh well, got here at the shipper with 00:00 for an appointment time after looking for an empty at Greer and not finding one.

Some knobjob had a kingpin lock on an empty sitting in the yard, but hey, if it didn't, I'm sure it wouldn't have still been there. Hopefully the shop will come out and cut it off after I told them about it and teach the guy a 40+ dollar lesson. I doubt it, though.

They'll get to me in about an hour and a half to load, then I'll run up the road 18 miles to the Brintle truck stop in Mount Airy, NC again.

 

I'll be on my way to the Portland, OR area if the load is ready. DDT is 2359. Hmmmm....

Irritated a guy by asking why he was idling all day. Just curious whether he had battery trouble or not. Oh, well. Not everybody is going to like me or what I say. He'll either get over it....or not. I couldn't care less either way.

 

phoenix after a night in fresno and another in palm springs. i sure miss my old volvo. this columbia is like driving a tin tool shed. looking at the lease trucks here and sitting till monday to try to get one. pro-star or t660? there's a t2000 that's been sitting here for so long it has a bird's nest in the air horns.

 

Go home to Phoenix, dropped my loaded trailer in the flatbed area then go to park in bobtail and guess what I see, or don't see in this case, not a single bobtail space open. Had to go park back under my trailer.

 

one of those bobtails is mine. the columbia that's parked backwards and crooked.

 

I can't park in those spaces straight to save my life.
I've never seen that area completely full though, especially at 2 in the afternoon.
