Delivered a load in Bloomfield, CT earlier, and pick up a load in Westfield, MA in the morning headed for IN.
I'm sure glad I got a load from there. Not a place I'd want to be stuck.
I had 42 minutes left on my 11 when I got the load assignment, and it took 41 minutes to get 26 miles to a Walmart a few miles from pick up.
Good night from...

Made it to Albuquerque with 22 minutes left on my 70 about 26 hours before delivery time and asked them for a tcall solution as I was to pick up 10:45 at midnight for a delivery in Phoenix by noon. By the time they got around to answering my request they said there was no time to tcall the load. I made it down to Phoenix about 11:15 (Friday, today) and the final says they don't want the load til Monday! So I sent a message for a tcall in PHX which they did grant. About this time I got a call from a home area code number (turns out it was my son's school) which I didn't answer, but then the ex called and told me my son had fallen down and opened up his lip and needed stitches. I was offered a load to home for Monday but I told them I was done and bobtailing home. Turns out not so bad, only 3 stitches and got the load put back on for Monday.

Yes, still here in the hotel. Today went down for the breakfast, and a whole lot of UIC students that are here for some function. The nice part, mostly Filipino ladies, freshman year. Yes, I was the gentleman and took some time to just try and get some toast. The owner saw me also just trying to get a cup of coffee, so he brought over a pot for me. They are some real nice owners here and if ever broke down, a place that I would recommend. A short walk to a large mall and on the next corner, Bob Evans and the other corner a steak house. I am just so ##### tired of being broke down. Figured out the time that I have been broke down, 19 days, and the lost revenue. Can not wait until I get to PHX and have a sit down. Forgot to say what KW told me, that they think that this filter cleaning is that first start to what could be a problem. It could cure it, and then again, there could be more.

I'm sorry that you are having so many breakdowns Squeak. I remember when I leased my truck, the very first load out it broke down and went into the shop for 4 days. The truck was used, I reckon the previous lease operator had had enough and just turned it in. They gave me a 30 day warranty and it was in the shop for 11 of those days. Mostly DPF problems, kept going to shop after shop around the country, all they would do is reflash the ECM and send me on my way for $475 bucks each time. Got it into Denver, the Rush Peterbilt guy removed the DPF and 'cleaned' it lol I think he just sprayed it with air and charged me $475 again. Check engine light came back on soon after again, I just put a piece of window tint over it, still could see it, just not so bright. Finally outside St Louis KW took it into their shop while Abby and I were in the hotel, they called Swift for permission, not me and put in all new DPF< EGR Cooler and 7 injector. No problems in a year and half. The secret the guy told me is to try to run a parked regen every day at the end of the day when the engine is nice and hot. If it doesn't do it, it doesn't need it.
On my way home with a paying load yay. Looking at my contract looks like I have to give Swift 60 days notice before quitting otherwise they can stick me with the full year's cost for the baseplates. I will have to call RR next week to find out the best way to depart on good terms so I can return their plates and decals and permit book and they give me my bond back.blsqueak and koncrete cowboy Thank this. -
....I do 3 to 4 parked regens a day with my prostar....had it to 4 terminals. Thay all say they dont have the time to fix it..I spend a lot of time in rest areas. Doing regens.....burns up the 14 hr...its a company truck so its no where near what u had to go thru...but its one of the reasons im leaving to...piss poor company maintanence...lol

Take a week of home time and they will take your truck.
When you get back you will be assigned another.
