Honestly 17 seems low I think I would put it up at 30-32 and see what happens.

Yeah - honestly, with the horror stories in the last couple of years about 10 year old trucks needing $20k of repairs for emission issues, I thought it might be a good buy for someone.

Of course, cash is king - no bank is gonna finance something 2007. I have no regrets about buying my first truck at 960,000 miles for $12.5k, running it to 1.3 million, spending $35k in 5 years on it, and selling it for $14k to @zmster2033 who ran it a few years until his driver unfortunately tipped it over.

It just seems like an easier entry for a smart character, even in low low times like these.

It had broke the crank - there was a bulletin on the motor he missed, something about a check valve getting stuck in the oil system, so it trashed the bearings feeding dirty oil back in, rather than being filtered. Went down at 850k or so.

Oil filter housing replaced at rebuild to a 2 filter system, has 2 different filter numbers. He's religiously changed oil at 10-12k intervals with CAT filters, dealership work only on engine.
