Got a warning in Indiana.

it goes on your psp and sticks there for 7 years but not on your cdl. ####ing 55 thru the whole state it’s ####ing California in Indiana folks hate that state really pissed me off today

 

Ps just go 8 over on I-70 in that state cops don’t care passed a few #### ton of em them today

 

I"m not in IN, but was it a written warning? If the warning was on your Inspection form than it MAY bite you later, but I've had things put on those but not cited and they never were spoke of again. If it was a written warning on a state level citation then it probably doesn't exist. Plus, if you're not with a super huge mega carrier and with a smaller company, they really don't look at DAC anyways, costs them money to.

 

Warning for 11 to 14 over. This is pretty weird. Why not just a citation?

 

Lot of cops have done me a lot of favors over the years. Maybe they know how bad we get hammered, maybe it's about quitting time and they don't want the paperwork, either way I'll take it when I get it!

 

That's not too much of a favor. That's like 30 csa points.

Maybe cause you were going downhill like you said. And he's gotten beat on those before or reduced.

Just weird. That's usually auto citation.

 

I-70 has been #### show for past few months. Especially between Indianapolis and Indiana/Ohio border.

 

When the cop came to the door, perhaps the OP lowered his shirt. Showing some taco meat can sway an officer

 

I had TN cop one time give me a clean level 3 but added a warning for doing 37 in a 35. I didn't consider it a favor at all. I have since wondered if a driver can refuse the warning and ask for a real ticket. Still pissed off about it six years later. They can stick it to you real good with a warning and don't have to worry about appearing in court and having to explain the nonsense to a judge.
Give me.a.citation any day.
