Got chewed out yesterday at a customer.

Boy Howdy, 6wheeler, you got that right. I've been to many places, that these people get off on trying to get you upset. Most of the time, I was being paid by the hour, and if they were screwing with me, I'd say, "go ahead, I'm making more just sitting here". When they heard that, they usually figured I wasn't going to get mad.

 

Yeah huh. Were also Mushrooms.

 

I'd just say I can't read French.

 

If so then its, I dont know how it got like that, it was that way when I found it.

 

I got verbally hammered by a hot headed manager at a delivery a while back , guy went off on me and I ended up calling the police.
Pretty bad scene.
As it played out the cops stated I am within my rights to press harassment charges on the person.
I didn't take it that far .
Moral if the story is no one has the right to walk all over you or anyone else.

 

In this profession you're ###### if you do and ###### if you don't.Something isn't right on the other end but who gets blamed and yelled at,the drivers.Whether at a customer on the road or your company,its always our fault.Packrat handled it very professional.I on the other hand may have told the guy off depending on his voice tone.

 

I'm sorry, it tickled my funny bone, I saw the image in my head... and tried to get as close as possible ( I can't draw worth a darn).

Hi patty, so true. When I'd run into a crabby foreman or dock personnel, I was always very courteous, because I knew they wanted me to get upset. I was always SO GLAD I could leave the place, and not deal with those schmos all day, and I think they knew that and were envious.

 

Some places have some really just plain rude people ...

I stop at one place about 3 times a month and I always get the same lady at the window . I swear she hasn't been laid in about 20 years , she is that cranky. Lol
