Got my CDL "A" permit Today WOOHOOO

Finally after waiting nearly 2 1/2 yrs I took my tests for my CDL "A" this morning .. Passed all 3 parts 1st try Wifes turn to try next..

A little history .. Currently My wife (43) and I (51) married nearly 15 yrs have 4 kids :3 boys 1 girl b23,b20,b17g17 --started thinking about being empty nester's (New Beginnings) about 2.5 yrs ago as I have grow burned out of working on Heating and Cooling units for the past 23 yrs ... So I approached my wife about us Team Driving and She thought it was a good idea( Well needless to say I about fell over) as she is not well educated and is currently working in a daycare (last 2.5 yrs) to have a work history for our trucking career.. oh fun.. .. ..But HECK YA..
I have wanted to drive OTR since I was a young man, things just never worked out and then I had kids ..But, Now is our chance ...We love to travel and camp and have no disillusions about living in a truck and have talked a lot about it over the past 2 yrs, But now we are getting closer to GO TIME :, I have always been kind of a gypsy.

Since then I have researched about Team Trucking as much as possiable ..

Our 2 youngest Teens are now Seniors in HS and will both turn 18 in Feb '15 and Graduation is May 19th and class starts at Crowder CC in Neosho Mo. June 1st, its about a 90 min drive from our house. We plan to be there Heard its a very good school for CDL Traning.. $3700ea includes room and food and classes for 5 weeks.
We already have the funds saved to pay cash for school and enough saved to keep things rolling for a couple of months till we can start making a pay check..So We won't be beholding to anyone when we leave school..

Not totally sold on which company we want to start out with.. we have needs/wants
1: We have a 6 yr old min pin that has to come eventually
2: We want to learn on a manual transmission 1st ..
3: A large inverter

We ain't asking much .. We would like to stay with a company for at least 2 yrs ..If we can find a decent starter company
