Got safety termination from schneider

And there's no reason whatsoever to get fired for a high hook on an empty trailer Crank it up, let it down, and drive on. No one needs to know.
But, yeah, at Schneider, a high hook (if you get caught) is 100% out the door.

 

I edited it to reflect reality, in the real world, we have either accidents or incidents, there is no major or minor anything.

So I wonder what were the other two because the last one is considered an incident, not an accident.

Apply, and fight for it, as mentioned, if they don't tell you the policy and you violate it, then it is on them - citing Judge's post.

 

Why are you so sure this job is for you? Why are you not paying attention to what you do with the truck? I don't want to hear your excuse for each event. Why didn't event #1 & #2 cause you to be more careful? You are in control of your truck and your actions.

Once your termination is older you can probably find a company to hire you.

 

It's my impression the 3rd event, would have been a firing event no matter what. The first 2 events told the company this guy isn't not learning, His next event will be his exit, and it was.

Everyone is remorseful and "learns their lesson" after they are fired, ticketed, or suspended.

Even if they didn't (they totally did, multiple times), third time hitting something in 4 months means you're not learning from your screwups. It's not the mistake that matters, it's how you respond to it. In order to jump the kingpin and hit the back of the cab you were driving oblivious. With your current attitude you are a risk that's not worth the reward.

As you move forward, act deliberately and with specificity. You said "I always get out and check the height myself", but I'm willing to bet you only do 60% of the time. I'll also bet that you don't do things in the same order every time.

 

Try the North Dakota oilfield.They tend to have alot of openings this time of year. Because ppl start leaving as it gets cold.
