Who said you need a gps? I went two years on the road without one and found every place very easily with atlas and directions form the customer.

    I'm with you.
Spent my first 8 years on the road without a GPS.
If you learn to read a map, as I did in the Army, you can't beat using the brain and a little customer service with a phone call.
Most of my common routes are now stored in the gps for quick reference.
Even if I run a route on gps I still look at atlas.

    CrappieJunkie Thanks this.

Thank you for your service. My dad taught me to read a map. It is common sense.

I used to have a Magellan truck GPS. What a piece of garbage. Support was nothing but people from India and the Philippines reading out of a manual and did not have a single clue on their product. None. I would never own one ever again.

I like some of the RM features......however....Garmin is in the GPS business, and customer support is right there in Overland Park Kansas along with their main HQ.
