$42,814 price (down from $45,700 advertised price.

Put $9630 down plus $2870 in upfront costs (total of $12500)

Financed $33,944.21 through Russ Darrow Financial Group of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Payments are $995.34 for a 48 month term.

Final cost (including loan interest) is $47,776.32.

The more I can pay directly to the principle, the more I save on interest. Should I be half as smart, good, and lucky as I think I am, I should actually have the truck paid off inside 18 months. Which means I'll end up closer to the $34,000-$35,000 mark as my final paid off cost. My finance deal allows for additional payments direct to principle AND early payoff without penalty. Very important in ANY finance deal.

    NICE!

Drove a couple of those Cascadias. Solid, dependable trucks. Start up every day, put.in a solid day's work. And it looks right sharp!

Total fixed costs of operation around $1,500/month between carrier costs (OCC/ACC ins., IFTA filing, Omnitracs service charge and so on).

Buying my own plate, and already bought my own Bobtail/Phys. Damage insurance for around $1,900 for the year. My plate will run a bit over $1,750 to run until July, 2020. Then I'll have to renew for (I think) $1,900.

I'm looking into leaving my carrier and signing my truck on with Kaplan instead. Which will change my monthly fixed costs and add a trailer lease (no money down, no balloon at the end of the lease, $200-$250/week for a Reitnouer/sidekit)
