So far it sounds like you made a great choice when you switched companies.

Semi-unrelated question maybe one of you know the answer to. It could be totally off base here, but from what I see rolling down down the road it seems like percentage wise reefer companies are much more likely to go with mid-roof tractors then dry van, who (whom?, I can never keep that straight) seem more likely to go with condos. Is there a reason for this having to do with the reefer unit, or is it just a question of cost and how that sector approaches it?

 

Do you not have an APU on the truck?

 

Midroofs tend to hold the wind better, in my experience anyways.

 

I drove a midroof for a long time never felt like i needed more room.

I know a few guys that love to run NYC, they enjoy the challenge and extra pay! For me I go to Chicago all the time and that's enough of an adventure for me!
