Amen ! Other than the little match with dispatch last week that I'm quite certain I won and I'm pretty sure a certain person has a sore spot on they're ### over it I think this might be a pretty dang good place to work .
I do know that Brent came from crete and was close enough to Duane to attend his funeral which tells me Brent remembers when crete drivers were cream of the crop as do I .

Made it to my first stop on Monday 40 min before my appointment, the last 15 miles to Oakland the usual backup.
Glad I made it thru Donner cause they close I-80 every few hrs due to new mudslides at Baxter.
When I arrived at the receiver, about 10 trucks were backed up on the street. Took me only 2.5 hrs to get to the guard, got rid of 3 pallets after another 2.5 hrs
My second and third drop was rescheduled for Tuesday, was at the first at 5 in the morning as told by dispatch, but they don't start before 6 o_O
Then 25 miles down South I-880, took me 1:45 to get there, they unloaded pretty fast too.
Got my reload and went South I-5, quick washout in Westley and was in and out at the shipper within 1 hr 20 min.
Only 29000 pounds, but had to slide my tandems all the way forward to be legal on the drives (I know my gauge ;))
Heading to Denver to deliver tomorrow night. Plenty of time to get there and when I'm empty, we will see. Have not enough hrs left to get back to Omaha on Friday. Will talk to Dispatch tomorrow and see what we do.

Brad, I ran into dispatch a few times and had a conference call once with Brent and the dispatch, problem was solved after that. When I'm right I'm right
Some of the new trailers we have, have some dents and scratches already, but I think most damages happen at shippers when the trailers are shunted.
Never had problems with a trailer when I picked up one, at other companies most drivers don't care and drop trailers with issues without telling the shop. Been there...
I think we have a bunch of good drivers and hope it stays how it is.

I'm not sure of what happened with Crete. I know they used to be well respected. I read Tuckers thread and it doesnt sound very good anymore.

That makes me leary to apply at Crete. I'm looking for a good entry company, but it seems alot don't have a great reputation anymore.

So after 2 hours you get detention pay, is that across the board or depending on the customer?
