Ok cool , followed one of yours across 30 in Indiana on Sunday...he was very brave lol

 

I'm at the sysco truckstop in Central Islip now .

 

Sob !!!! Boss just called and gave me a raise .

 

Naw flash gotta take it slow , up to 18 cpm now .
Christ everyone knows there's no money in the packing biz and I don't wanna break em.

 

Back to seriousness .
The boss actually did call me today and jacked me up a penny a mile ..not life changing but I did appreciate someone at least notices here .
Also this trip was a test of greater O .
I got out of omaha 8 hours late but had a fresh 70 11 and 14 but had been up all day ...drive all night isn't happening so I ran to Princeton ill on Sat and took a 10.5 hour break .
Left there early Sunday morning and ate a good meal , showered and fueled along the way in Ohio .
Arrived at snow shoe pa last night at 10.5 hours on line 3 ..parked it .
Got up at the 10 hour mark and called my first drop to see if they would take me today and they said heck yeah so I hit it .
I dont go into to nyc low on anything so stopped in Eastern pa for fuel , reefer fuel , def , stock fridge and shower .
Still not a word from dispatch .
Crossed the gwb about noon and nota word from dispatch.
Got to first drop in and out ... second drop in and out .
Went to 3rd drop for the night got parked and that's when boss called and I'm thinking oh oh oh here's the ### chewing for not running all night Saturday tired when then babysitter said I had hours .
Such wasnt the case and got a small raise along with a pat on the back sayin " you kicked ### ".
