Lmao im a Western Wisconsin German ( Menomonie)..
There's a bunch of us in the Hastings Inver Grove heights area too ... zeilinger.....there's a few in Nebraska too but no relation.

 

Day one of orientation was pretty standard .
Drug screen and physical first then a couple of movies and tests .
Then came lunch with Jarrod witch was a great meal .
Another movie and test then a lengthy road test with a guy I used to work with at sub zero ages ago.
Then got to pick out the truck I wanted between 2 trucks and took a 2015 cascadia with 90k on the clock , apu , inverter and fridge .
Well optioned and extremely clean ..never smoked in either.
Then another film and test and sent me home at 4.

 

I think that's what Fernando said but now that you mention it ? ...that 730 volvo tho a nice truck had a hideous interior color .

Day 2 of orientation more movies of course lol.
And sign the usaul cover thy arse paperwork with safety lady , another movie and then out for lunch with Jarrod for shrimp scampi and spaghetti .
After lunch meet with shop manager Mike who is not a stereotypical shop guy and all the shop people are friendly with a good sence of humor .
Then meet with the friendly payroll lady for another mountain of insurance info and signatures and issued fuel card .
Next meeting was with dispatchers who were ecstatic to hear I only want to run NYC and back ...they were a friendly group with knowledge of the f word lol.
Was disappointed to find out I gotta run 30 71 and 76 to go around the ind and Ohio tollroads but they do pay for the out of route miles .
Next met with the general manager who seemed like an good guy but it was quik .
Finished up some quikie paperwork end went home .
Tmw involves some qaulcomm work and put all my stuff in and on the truck .. gotta clean mvr so truck will be governed at 70.
Dispatch already got me lined out on a Monday delivery at the bronx market.

 

I checked kraut and it's a 2015 , Mike told me the shag drivers had been using it which of course would send a red flag for being trashed but definitely not the case .
Interior spotless and smells new , no dings or dents .
Needs cleaned up outside but not filthy , chrome to be added tmw and will get the aluminum brightened when roads dry up next week .
