Greater omaha express ..thread 2.

Heard back from everyone from the boss to the recruiter today and they say they are working on it and understand my frustration.
I love everything about this company except how I'm being dispatched so I guess ill just have to wait it out .

 

I'm doing an experiment today in Sioux city .
Girlfriend is out if town on a business trip so I've nothing to do at home .
I emptyed out here at noon yesterday and told dispatch I'm going to sit here until the 50 mph winds die off which was last night .
Woke up this morning and haven't heard a word from dispatch ...I think they forgot about me lol.
Going to sit here under the radar and do a 34 and see how long it takes em to miss me.

 

They called me about 2 to see what I wanted to do . lol..gonna finish the 34 and head down to Omaha.

 

Headed down to Omaha at 4 this morning and grabbed a load going to springfield mo that I had to go schuyler ne to pick up .
All appear well with the trailer until I got out on 30 and noticed it was like pulling a rock pile and the brakes were surging .
Pulled it to Fremont and crawled under it to find air bags only partially inflated ...called shop and brought it into Omaha and the leveling valve was bad ..quick fix in and out ..our shop guys rock !
Hauled arse down into Missouri and ran the babysitter over by 6 minutes so we see if anyone catches it lol
Met with Brent again today while trailer was in the shop and he said the Bronx deal is still in the works with jbs but I would have a northeast load out of our plant this weekend .
We shall see.
