Mine's 10501 and should be the dirtiest truck on the yard
Last time I was at Volvo for the heater core it took them 7 hrs.

I knew that I have to spend two days for shop hopping, but it must be done. The last weeks when I was in Omaha it always was on a weekend, no chance to get it done. Had not too many hrs anyways.
Will see to get a trip going West on the weekend, will be home end of next week for a few days off.

 

The only problem with my Volvo I had so far is the heater core. Made now about 150k without a breakdown... knock on wood...
With the Cascadia's I had in Canada I was a member (and not a fan!!!!!!!!) of most Freightliner shops.
The Cascadia I had at Holland Enterprises made no problems at all, just an AC had to be fixed in Las Vegas NV during my home time.

Had a bad night last night. Woke up with a bad toothache and didn't sleep much. Went to Volvo this morning and later Jarrod picked me up to get to the yard. A few phone calls and I had an appointment with the dentist at 14:00.
Two hours later I was back on the yard with one tooth missing. Good dentist, got a shot, no pain as he pulled all the pieces of my tooth.
Later the pain started
Had a prescription but this stuff wouldn't be good if I would have a random, got some painkillers from Pam and Bill and it's good so far. Will see in the night.
Was back at Volvo and my truck was still at the same spot where I parked in the morning. A few minutes later I could pull in the shop and they flushed my heater core.
After that I went back to get my APU checked again, the problem was still not resolved.
Got a new belt and everything looks good according to the mechanic. Don't think that my APU problems are gone, will see when it's really cold
Back on the yard now.

 

Is your company an out and back, or will it keep you out of the yard for a month or two at a time? Is any part of your pay, per diem? If per diem, can you option out of it?
