No I'm not going the way of Jimmy Hoffa lol.
Well we had half a meeting yesterday and then Brent had to go so going to finish up when I get back from Tulsa .
I told em they can find someone else to do NYC and ill be sticking to the Midwest at least until they can come up with somthing to replace gordmans off the east coast .
As I'm not interested in that produce crap out of the ports ...not worth my time .
I heard from one of the shag drivers yesterday in a bs session that Brent and the traffic manager in the plant don't get along because the plant wants to dump all its crap loads on us and Brent won't take em .
When I got to the office yesterday sir kraut was giving them his own ### chewing and he may have said the remainder of what I have to say for me .
Still not sure what the future holds here yet .The Kraut, Vic Firth, Panhandle flash and 3 others Thank this. -

Had a chat with Brent and our dispatchers on Wednesday and we will see, what's going on the next weeks.
According to Brent, we will meet again in 30 days and talk.
My week so far, delivered Monday in Fargo, St. Cloud and Minneapolis and my planned reload was cancelled
Got another load for Tuesday morning and camped at the shipper for the night, then back to the yard. Wednesday my truck was in the shop and finally they figured out that my shocks on the last drive axle were shot. Also my steer tires got replaced and they started replacing the shocks. It took forever for the first two so Bill asked me if I could take another truck for this one trip to Fargo and back to the yard, but I suggested that we change the other shocks when I'm back on Friday.
Left late and had a drop and hook in Fargo, then went to the Stamart truck stop at 1 o'clock to find the place overcrowded, but there were a few spots left, left and right beside a burnt out truck. The fire truck was still there but the truck was extinguished and taped and the guys left when I arrived.
After my 10 I headed 80 miles North to pick up and went back to Omaha.
Truck got the other shocks replaced and I'm now resetting till tomorrow and then to L.A. and back home next week.Vic Firth and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
Now I know what a HOT load looks like
Panhandle flash, Suspect Zero, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
I liked sir kraut tom lol and thanks for your chat the other day .
I went down to Tulsa and called bill this morning from KC and told him how about an Ohio load for Monday and he said he'd work on it but head for Omaha .
I made it almost to Iowa and he called asking if I would turn around and go back to st. Joseph mo to get a load out of the pork plant tmw going to the Youngstown oh area for Monday and I said hell yeah ...a 1000 miles in the books by Monday morning will make for a good week next week .The Kraut and Shock Therapy Thank this. -

I've cooled off from last week a quite a bit and thought things over a lot and especially and kraut and I talked .
My call is we got a big communication problem and lack there of .
We also have dispatchers that are overworked with booking loads and dealing with customers and drivers , negotiating rates etc .
At least one of the 3 dispatchers has never been in a truck before and all 3 know nothing about running the northeast .The Kraut, Vic Firth, Suspect Zero and 2 others Thank this. -
bzinger Thanks this.
