Would be nice if they actually understood English enough to get the order right.

 

Was finally empty and left the receiver at 21:15, that's 14.75 hrs after check in.

Back at the TA, got the truck and trailer washed without waiting time
Another driver comes down to Denver tomorrow and brings a trailer for Cali for me.
Think this will be later in the day, so I can sleep a bit longer tomorrow. I'm tired from all that sitting...

 

Order by number. Don't try to explain what you want. Just say "I'll have number 133."

 

And say it as "one hundred thirty three". Otherwise, you may end up with a number one and a thirty three.

 

Woke up this morning at 06:00 and had a voicemail on my phone, the guy who brought my trailer. He left in the middle of the night and was in Denver at 09:05, we met at the drop yard and I was on the road at 09:45.
Nothing with sleeping a bit longer...
Already in Nevada, my first drop is south of Oakland at 06:00 on Monday and my second drop in L.A. at 14:30.
First will not be a problem but second
The guy was on his first trip, he just started with GO. Had not much time to chat, hope I will see him on the yard one day.

 

For the most part, I am happy where I am, company does do a few things that drive me nuts. The biggest is when looking for a reload, and thankfully doesn't happen often. Yes, I understand the need to minimize unloaded miles but, come on!!!!!! You spent all day Friday looking for a load for me, and your not going to bounce me till noon Sat. before you go home??? Do you REALLY think your going to find that magic load, while making me sit????

Anyhoo, instead of coming straight to Girard and doing a reset, took a little tour and spent the night and part of Easter with my sister. Had a good time. She is slowly getting over the death of her husband, but still has a long way to go. Will be making that extra effort to stop by her place every other month or so, to check up on her. We run by there all the time anyway.
