This day is sure going downhill quickly!!! Trying to get my 2nd drop off and it was refused. Why you might ask? Have 22 pallets of battery chargers and was sent to an actual construction site. "These aren't supposed to be here till next month, I have no docks ready, and no way to unload you. Call your broker". Now the broker is trying to figure out what to do with this.

Think I'll take a nap. *sighs*

    bzinger Thanks this.

So does G.O.E send you out with stuff from their plant and then broker you back or are you guys waiting on backhauls that they set up?

Had to make a decision yesterday as my load was for a Friday delivery and I dropped it at our drop yard in Denver. My load home was planned for a 16:00 pick up, plenty of time, but has to be delivered till noon on Friday in Albuquerque. Checked the weather forecast and it didn't look good for Vail Pass, so I decided to run my full 11 hrs yesterday to get over the pass and avoid the chain law.
Not many parking options between Vail and Denver, but I found a spot at an exit and had just 1 minute left on my 11
Dropped my trailer this morning and went to the shipper, if they load me early it's fine, if not I take an eight hour sleeper there. And was lucky, they loaded early and I made it over Raton Pass today without snow.
There's a winter storm watch for the whole area here in NM for Saturday and I hope I will be home tomorrow afternoon without problems.

Yeah we mostly haul out of our plant and then they try to backhaul you to Omaha .
You better know up front tho that dispatch is sometimes disorganized and communication is a problem too.
They are making progress tho and if it was just a run of the mill no benefits low pay trucking company I'd have been gone by now .

Well Brent showed his colors today !
In that he does give a dam about the drivers .
Due to a screw up on the receivers part in morris ill yesterday I'm camped out here on some refused product .
I received 125.00 layover pay yesterday and for today and Sunday I will be payed for 500 miles a day .
Brent also told me I could deadhead home to Omaha if I wanted to....I told him the weather at home is lousy this weekend so ill just sit here at the flying j in LaSalle and collect 555.00 for screwing off .
