Thats incredible. If the fridge in my house lasts 1/2 that long I'll chalk that up in the win column. I would say meal prep is definitely the way to go. PB&J gets old fast.
10 years ago I was a few weeks over 21 and on one of my first true OTR trips and stopped at a TA somewhere in AR leaving Stuttgart and ordered the steak tips. Not a good idea. Without getting too graphic, let's just say if I had a trusty freezer like yours, I would have had a toilet paper roll in it. So you're doin it right bringing your own food that's for sure. Keep the posts comin man be safe.

 

Traffic into L.A was a nightmare this morning, got to the receiver a few minutes late, but an hour later I was empty.
Picking up a load 17 miles away this evening, parked around the corner and take a longer nap now.
Always a problem for me to sleep in the day, but I'll give it a try.

 

Couldn't really sleep, after I had an eight our sleeper I went to the shipper, my appointment was 18:00, was there short after 16:00. Yard was full, trucks were backed up on the street and I thought, this will be a long night
At the guard shack I was told, my appointment was 16:00, not 18:00
But I was lucky, had to load at another dock and fortunately I got a door immediately, but as the yard was full, I had to back up from the four lane street, the guard shack was so brave to stop the traffic and 15 minutes after my arrival I was at the dock. Left at 19:00, scaled in Ontario and made it till Barstow. My delivery is Wednesday night in Denver, so back to a more normal sleep schedule.

 

Do you think living in Northern Colorado I could get decent home time with GO express. I see a guy in sterling with his trucked parked almost everyweek.

 

Best thing to call Jerrod and ask about home time options in that area. We have plenty of freight in the Denver area. We have a lot of drivers living in the greater Denver area and we have a drop yard in Denver.

 

Gotta love a broker, who not only gives you a wrong address, but the wrong town. Address was in a residential area, that had a 28 ft length limit. Thankfully, I don't blindly follow that dang GPS.

On top of that, once I did get to the right place, had to do a nasty blind side back. I hate those! !!!!! Took me awhile but, I did make it in and, didn't hit anything. I'll call that a success! !!!!!
