Sleep apnea test. Just blew any interest I might have had coming there. Shame, was giving it a consideration.

Yea I'm not sure how involved that is @Panhandle flash it was one of the questions at the doctor office if I've ever been tested for it, I checked "No" and then when sawbones came in he just thumbed thru my questionnaire, saw that I marked no, and said "yea you won't have any problems" and that was it. I will say the agility test was more that I expected. Not difficult by any means, but made me wonder if Greater O wasn't expecting me to tarp some of these meat loads the way I was lifting stuff :confused3:

I agree with @bzinger, I think it was more him talking out loud while ruffling thru papers over actually thinking about the test. Cuz he also said the same thing about the pacemaker section.

When I was there, one of the rendering guys had to take that sleep apnea test and he did have to get a machine, between that and his BP he worked on the wash rack for about a month. GO is a no touch company, you do not touch any of that meat for any reason.

Another great orientation day at Greater O. Started with the last of my videos. Then got a run down on the Qualcomm set up. I've never used Qualcomm before, but from what I can see it's a lot more user friendly than the PeopleNet series I'm familiar with. Out to lunch real fast then back for more paperwork about insurance and healthcare and all that good stuff. The safety lady and benefits girl are so nice. Then met with the lead dispatcher and he asked where I liked to run, when I wanted to be home, how I like to run and all that good stuff. Sounds like they got a lot of juicy freight lanes coming down the pipe. And he reiterated that my house location in St. Louis is a good spot. Met the head honcho down at the shop. He seemed super nice as well. I got a 2015 Freightliner with a 10 speed that they took to get new shoes on and aligned. I have a clean MVR so I'll start at 70 mph. Other than that nothing much to relay. I'm kicked back at the hotel with a gift certificate to a BBQ restaurant right across the parking lot. Report back tomorrow to go over my new (to me) truck with the aforementioned shop lead, and hook on to something and go. Will keep posted on my whereabouts and goings on. Really impressed with everything I've seen so far. Ready to get the truck set up and get running.
