Yeah St. Louis is a good spot, they go to Sauget quite a bit, and then pick up in Granite City going to Omaha. When I was there as a Great Lakes regional driver back in '15, I saw a lot of Chicago, including downtown, which isn't that bad, you just have to know how to get in and get out, and where to park. There was one time I had to dead head all the to Granite City IL to get my load to get back to Omaha. You'll like it at GO.

Thanks @rmacjr i think so too. They said one of their drivers from St. Louis recently left the company last week and he did a lot of St. Louis and back and he said they're gettin down into Memphis a bit more and that might work out too. I been to Holten Meat in Sauget quite a bit years ago I think it's also called The Branding Iron? So i kinda know the drill there. Thanks again for the encouraging words I'm looking forward to getting going

Yeah that was always my favorite run, nice and quite at night, easy in and easy out.

I like it here and it's a touchy subject but I won't be helping bring new drivers here anymore .
Not going anywhere but miffed that new drivers start at more than I make and management keeps pushing it to the back burner .

Huh? How is this even possible?
I know companies will start a driver new on the same scale as experienced, but never heard of more

That was the same problem with the Shag team, there are two guys there that have been on the shag for 8-9 years, and everyone was making the same amount every week as they were. They weren't too happy about it, and one even went to management about it but nothing became of it. One of the cons of working at GO.

*sighs* Accounting gimmicks!!! Just looked at one of my settlement sheets, and their trying to say I made 52 cpm for that trip. They're using the fact that they pay a $150 NE bonus, which I'll buy but, I had 5 pickups or drops, at $25 a pop, and their adding that to the CPM. No!!!!! That should be on top, of the mileage pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like bzinger tho, not going to quit over that. To much time invested here, to lazy to fill out apps hoping for greener pastures, and just flat out getting to close to being able to retire. Just don't want to start over, somewhere else!
