    Must've just missed you man. I fuel at the Pilot there most everyday; those are my "stompin grounds" ..... next time pm me LoL~ Sis was by the house today... I'll tell her tomorrow because she has our lil' one.. 13 years young ~ birthday weekend; taking him skating 2mrw. Be safe, man.

    Well I knew this truck felt dang underpowered and was going to tell the shop about it when I got back to Omaha.
    Buutttt when I crossed into penn this afternoon the check engine lite came on the check transmission lite came on and it completely fell on its can ...20 pds of boost from the turbo and 45 mph up the hills .
    Even the Russians with they're wore out Volvo's were flying by me lol.
    Threw in the towel at snow shoe and limping it back to freightliner in dubois tmw morning.
    I've never run a dd15 moter before but I'm pretty sure they gotta carry more than 20 pnds of boost pressure.

    That's sucks, at least you're not stuck along side the road without heat and the white volvo crowd passing you by.

    Found this on the web from a certified truck technician:
    The boost pressure on the dd15 should run around 15-27 psi when it is getting hammered. It uses a compounding turbo/gear system in which it has small gears attached to the gear train on the back of the engine to help it get the engine going faster.

    Don't remember what pressure my Cascadia had, but it's pretty low compared to other engines.

    Got it into freightliner and after they hooked all they're electronic gizmos up and 2 different techs looked at it they bobtailed it around the lot and told me they can't find anything wrong with it !
    I told em no dang way that truck should run like that ...shrug shrug .
    So I got a rag and a flashlight and wiped off the fuel filter sight glass and sure as hell the filter is plugged !
    God forbid the they would check the obvious first and knot heads were going to send me out the door like this.

    In the day and age of electronic this computer controlled that there few people left that really know or care how to troubleshot actual mechanical issues. If it doesn't pop up on an HD display it must not be broken.

    I assume they changed the fuel filter? If that's all it was that's not too shabby. Darn knuckle heads though.
