There was no need for your ridiculous hyperbole. Using a bottle is not a crime. Show me a male trucker that doesn't use one. It's how you dispose of it that separates the professionals from the slobs. I live by "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." I know from his previous postings that the OP has skeletons in the closet of his own that may or may not have been disclosed to Schneider.tucker Thanks this.

I am researching companies for a place to land after I get my CDL. It is nice to know some companies actually have standards, and individuals should be held to them. If they can't take care of themselves, how on earth does anyone expect them to take care of others, like their trainee?
The piss in a bottle does not bother me much, but having to smell someone who's hygiene is not up to par day in and day out is inexcusable. I keep reading how folks look down at the industry, and this is the poster child for it. Truck stops used to be marketed towards truckers, now they are marketed towards families on vacation. Picture your average family in a T/A or Love's and standing next to this guy in line. The family won't remember the 100 others that showered every other day, or at least used some deodorant and baby wipes, they will remember this guy and the other few like him.Last edited: Sep 23, 2016
alpha beta, cjb logistics, drvrtech77 and 1 other person Thank this. -
So you're taking up for the slob who was a trainer???
-
Merely peeing in a bottle does not necessarily mean he's a slob. I'm sure Manuel will use one himself once he goes out solo. All I am saying is if he was my trainer I would not have ran to management to get the guy fired. Then again I have much higher morals than the average person. I would have used disinfectant wipes to clean down the controls after he was done driving and waited to get into my own truck.redneckmike Thanks this.

One additional caveat to my post. The trainee told me he called management and they told him if he wanted off the truck they'd send him money for a Greyhound bus. He told them he didn't want a bus ride back to Phoenix from St. Louis. Since they had just started a 34 hour break (he had lots of hours left, trainer didn't) they told him he could start driving back to Phoenix.
At this point the trainer knew what was going on.
So, what did the trainer do??? As punishment to the student he left the bucket of crap inside the cab! What a douche bag, man! Not only that, he told me the trainer started to verbally abuse the student (who was black) as a racist against white people, etc.
I told the guy I would of dumped the bucket out onto the trainer's head while he was sleeping and hitch hiked back to Phoenix if needed. But that's just me. -
Have higher morals than most???..yet you say someone pissing in the truck with another driver in there isn't bad....first of all..going to mgt was the right thing to do and if you think otherwise...you're part of the problem out here.A_C_Cooper, cjb logistics, TequilaSunrise and 4 others Thank this.

He was probably thinking about you.. battle of the fiddles.

I didn't play the race card. That's what the student told me at the Phoenix, AZ terminal. I knew someone high up in management and asked them if they had heard about the incident and they confirmed they had. Therefore, I have no reason not believe what the guy told me. May is lucky they weren't slapped with a racial discrimination suit.
On a personal note, what the trainer did is disgusting on all fronts. Had I been in charge, I would have fired him on the spot. However, because these mega companies are so desperate for trainers due to their 140% turnover rates, they probably put another student right back in his truck.
