But......they have all been closed for the last year. Just like most of the sit down restaurants, Iron Skillet, Country Pride, Denny's, etc. I doubt many of them will ever re open. Sad......but......their profit margin is much better on the fast food and roller grill crap. I'm sure many of those restaurants were losing money. Perfect excuse to shutter them permanently. I really miss the Salad Bars. One of the only "healthy" options out here.

Drop the trailer and just drive the truck over there.

You can buy a whole lot of used paperbacks at any thrift store, and all you need to work out is your own body, and maybe a few small pieces of equipment. Here’s what I have in the truck:

Same here. Bring back the salad bar for God sakes. Heart disease is far more dangerous than that covid.

OP-- 24 hour fitness is a fine option. Guys on my fleet will park there. I haven't heard of any issues.

    Books: get a kindle.

When I was OTR, I carried 2 or 3 books with me. Can’t help you with the fitness. Although, at over 300 years old, I might want to start watching what I eat and get in a little more aerobic exercise.

That’s it, I’m going to stop munching on O positive after 10:00 and start going into bat mode for at least 2 hours a night.

If you've made it that long, I'd recommend you keep doing whatever it is you're doing!!

Going to gyms and libraries while OTR, not really practical. Instead, bodyweight workouts, in and around your truck, and get lots of books while on home time, You can probably renew them for weeks. Library fines are chump change for OTR drivers, anyways.
