Has there ever been a time where drivers worried about themselves only and not what someone else is doing?
Do you get on the radio and say something to every single truck that does something illegal?
If the dude had been a company driver would you still have come here and started a worthless thread about it?
Had an interesting conversation with an O/O...

Forgive me father...
To answer your question, probably. It would've been titled "had an interesting conversation with a *insert company name here* driver".
I mind my business for the majority of the time but I certainly don't mind calling out someone who gives us all a bad nameD.Tibbitt, shooter19802003 and ProfessionalNoticer Thank this. -

I used to run back and forth through there 4 times a week back in 2015-16 between Newark, NJ and Columbus and never remember it being that big of a deal. Lots of trucks layed over in the ditch during winter though...could indeed get treacherous at really any point along there and need to be sitting up and paying attention.

I haven't been around long enough to start worthless threads. Once that time comes, I won't need a reason.

This area is my stomping grounds and I creep the hills loaded or empty. Last thing you need is the ### end kicking out and jacking you into the woodland.
Plus it's fun to irritate the 4 wheelers like they do us in the cities.D.Tibbitt, shooter19802003 and Dave1837 Thank this. -
Always always fight any ticket
Especially one where the cop writing the ticket DID NOT see the radar .
Both cops have to show up and testify in court .
And if you have your lawyer show up in court and request a reset for another date , a time or two, the odds of both cops keep showing up together drops a lot .
then you request that the charges be moved to state court , when cops write tickets they know what the court date will be , in their local court.
they have no control of the state court calendar , it may be on their day off , and likely to be 40 or 50 miles away , which also reduces the odds of them showing up, and if they don’t , the judge will have to either reset it for another date or dismiss it .D.Tibbitt, shooter19802003, Speed_Drums and 1 other person Thank this. -
The sad reality is this story about him telling you that "he's an owner op and he can do what he wants " is most likely a lie. I'm guessing if there even was a conversation at all, it was probably very different than the version you posted. You more than likely put that in your story to try to aggravate certain people.

Great theory!! The only thing is, if this truly were a made up trucker story, it would've included me catching up to him at the next truck stop and completely telling him off, him backing down and apologizing and getting in his truck and leaving going exactly the speed limitD.Tibbitt, shooter19802003, Gearjammin' Penguin and 2 others Thank this.
