Had someone run into me while parked

I would report it just to CYA. As long as you are parked legally and in the sleeper than you are clear of any guilt. Relax and enjoy the ride, let the other knuckleheads stress over dumb s***!

Report it. Take photos of it before you move the truck a inch. Make a note of it in your pretrip inspection report.

DOCUMENT carefully any responses you get in any way back from anyone by name, time and date and contents of communications. Get it in writing not phone calls.

You have done everything you can do at that point. It would be up to the company to go through the process Also a police report being filled out is very good to have. Call the Law. You might have had a video camera covering you at some point and caught the person who did the hit and run.

I have had my front end torn off clean once. With me inside that sleeper. It was fortunate that it was a storm situation and I had my crash netting up that night. Waking up on the ceiling is not something I am used to. Fortunately I did not sustain any breaks or serious injury, particularly the head and neck area.

I also had a pretty good idea as well who did it. Just not the unit number etc. In my later years when I pulled in I grabbed a few pictures with the cell phone before going to bed. That way if something did happen, I'll have the goods. Plus vehicle camera that is active by itself as well. You wont believe what it will catch when it's keeping watch.

 

Well u should report it only if u were in a actuall parking spot, if u were in a build a spot then u might open urself to worse things with ur company.. Get u a good dash camera, most likely the truck had a swift lightning bolt on it or a cr england sticker
