LOL! Good point, but I believe "bypass" is the concept. I understand drivers from one of the local companies I am considering and is considering me refuse to go through Chi Town. I am not looking to run into unmarked low bridges saying "the company GPS routed me there" as I have seen posted. I know I need to be able to deal with whatever comes my way but I am also looking for the opportunity to learn these things and be successful - not set up a prescription for failure. Maybe it is too much to ask / hope for. Preferences are just that. A company which allows their drivers to avoid a known cluster rates pretty highly in my book.

There are better companies out there that pay better than Halvor- some of which are literally in your backyard if you’re based in Milwaukee.(Roehl,Marten,Martin’s,etc.).
Do thorough research before signing on with any company. -

Early in my career,I was always worried about Chicago. Then started going there, and it's no worse than any other large city. You learn where to go, where not to go, all is good.
