Well I had a full 3 nights and 2 days at home last weekend so of course i forgot something. I only had one claw hammer for work and truck so now I get to buy one. Which would you recommend a regular claw hammer or roofing hammer? Pros cons? Any better recommendations?

You plan on doing some carpentry on your 10's? Lol
I have a large framing hammer. Works good if you need to nail some dunnage to the deck. It's longer handle makes it easier to pull nails.S M D, Nitemare13 and Chewy352 Thank this. -
Framing hammers are manly.

For about $20 bucks you can get a nice Husky 19 ounce framing hammer at HD or Lowes.

I like the 21 Oz estwing with the smooth face the meat tenderizers that the framing hammers ussually have is hell on one's thumb when you miss the nail

Lol no capentry but yall hit the nail on the head. Except the guy that hit his finger ouch. I mostly just have to pull nails sometimes. I've not had to nail anything to my deck yet. Thanks
