I highly doubt it. By the time a full load of chicken reaches the trailer, they are long dead.

Interesting. Who knows. If I remember correctly, I held my breath while going in the trailer and quickly putting on the load locks. It would have been a better idea to open both trailer doors to let the air out for a minute. I think I recall the potency fading after having one of the trailer doors open for a minute.

In the meat plants cattle goes up a ramp to the kill floor tower.

There they are given a lethal dose of electricity via paddles applied to the heart. Takes em down instantly. They are then disemboweled. Guts go down one path animal goes the other path down towards the knife hall. chop chop.

Some plants in other cultures slit the throat over the carotid and wait a minute. When it drops then the chopping starts.

Always take a minute for yourself. It might be worth eternity wishing you did.

Any chemical that is in a Gas form at room temperature is capable of being used as the refrigerant.

IF it is compressed it becomes a liquid, which goes to a second chamber where it expands. Depending on which way the two chambers are "Traveling" you can cool or heat.

The technical details threaten to break the forum word count if I should try to break it down further. Let's leave it here for now.

Now I am curious to find out what it really was, and what negative effects it can have on my body. :(

I also remember that it wasn’t just breathing the gas, but also just being in the presence of the gas that was tough. I don’t remember feeling like I was going to faint like the op mentioned, but I am sure one could faint if in the gas long enough.

If you carry a small fingertip monitor for pulse oxygen, blood cell check (If it detects malformed cells damage it will tell you) heart monitor, essentially no pulse for dead and gives you a pulse if there is one. Make sure you get the good quality one for a few dollars (Should be about 30 or so) that can accept any position and motion.

Thats one check, really important. If you are faint, stick that thing on there and provided you are in say Virginia tidewater for example near sea level as long you are pushing 95% on ordinary breathing you will be fine. If your down below say 88 and falling that means you are going to drop and will be in need of life support in a few minutes. That excludes mountain top checking, people have survived down to the 40's when they adapt. (That takes a week on everest for example)

If anything else is not functioning or you cannot enjoy life feeling poorly, then put the call out before you are not able to.
