Glad to see this thread is still going! Congrats on the first produce load going well spyder2012. Attention to detail will serve you well on each load you get from here on out! I carry 5 load locks - 3 butterfly and 2 strait. When setting the load locks at the tail end I will place the first one near the floor just above the metal kick plate and the second at the upper third of the pallet. This way I can reef on them and the pressure points against the trailer wall are far enough apart that the load locks stay tight. Also, if you put the top load lock on first it can loosen up and fall upon your noggin while you are setting the lower lock. And how do I know this?!

I once moved to Mobile, Alabama and as I was coming into town for the first time I got into a traffic mess where a Dole truck turned over and threw nanners all over the road.
It smelled like nanner pudding. Which was a real nice welcome to the area, actually. I'm sure the truck driver wasn't enthused. I've never forgotten it. Now when I smell a nanner I think of Mobile Alabama. -
How can you bid on a contract as a owner operator with Chiquita?
I am in the process of buying few trucks been running refrigerated containers for 7 years now.
