Other then looking like trash everything works.(except the reefer engine) What will DOT say about moving this unit from Tracy to Chicago?

Nothing. However, I would check the reefer unit to make sure that no parts could blow off going down the road.

Nothing flopping in the breeze, no problem. Brought one back from CA to WI for someone worse than that.

Think they pulled off the parts that could fly off already

Just wait until people go to telling you on the CB that the unit is burning!!!

I picked up a twisted flatbed once where someone dropped spread in ditch with a huge I beam, ruining the trailer, losing and twisting the beam.
I picked it up at a wreckers place in Monroe LA and dragged it back to AR, it was... interesting.
Didn’t have a phone at that time or I’d have got pictures, but I had several on my way back to Little Rock telling me the beam had fallen over, the 10 chains and 12 straps( yes a ton) But the stake pockets were all ripped off driver side so I had to make do going to a frame, it didn’t satisfy the people that it was secure, we made it and they put the beam in their drop yard, I brought wrecked trailer back to our terminal, later they sold it for scrap

Maybe it was free or close to it. I know getting it to Chicago isn't going to be free.

Are you able to put anything in it or taking it there empty?

Looking for a load as we speak. Even if it's partial something is going into the box. Just not food grade.
