I've never heard of a reefer having wood floors and it doesn't make sense that a reefer would have wooden floors. Every pharma load I've hauled has unique criteria that must be adhered to before they will load you though. The thing being most important is the hours to drive non stop for 200 miles before stopping, as its always a high value load. I recall the temp settings I had were just 70 degrees.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Ours was 65 degrees and a minimum of 300 miles for stopping anything. The trailer had satellite tracking tied to it and the tractor too. 5000 bosses were interested if you stopped.
The trailers were great dane. Aluminum floors.
I never heard of reefers having wooden floors its all fluted metal. Even the old ones from the 60's
Trailer needs to be better than food grade condition. They will not load it if you have damage inside or around it. And that is a BIG problem. That load for example is going to be in detriot at sunrise from Memphis that evening. You are already late get going. -
Have used a few older wood floor reefers, they do exist in the bulk produce world.
I doubt a pharma company would want to load a would floored refeer though. They're typically pretty dirty. -
Your trailer will be spotless if you haul meds..
