HazMat Endorsement

There is a discount when applying for twic and hazmat at the same time, might as well Renew the twic at the same time.

 

May vary by state. In Montana they won't even let us apply until our prints come back.

It might but depends on a few things. Government is notoriously redundant,how long has it been since u got your Twic they might accept it or not based on time. If twic is still good then fee won't be a issue. If it is not then u will be paying a fee, nothing is free regarding government. Good luck my friend hazmat opens up a whole new world of trucking.

 

And while doing all the above. Consider adding the FAST card if a border crossing is in the future.

 

Already having your back ground been done before will also speed up the return process of the check. When I got my twic they told me then it was going to be a 6 to 8 week turn around, I received my card a week later because I already had a background check in my history from the military and my clearance level.
