You have to write cheat notes on you eyelids and under your toenails

You'll need to study the hazmat chapter in the cdl manual which is free at your local DMV station. It is the longest chapter in the book. The test is done on the computer at the dmv.I have hazmat but can't remember how many questions there are on the test.

Either 25 or 30 questions, I dont remember either. check out http://www.truckercountry.com/cdl-practice-tests/hazardous-materials/ and you can get an insight on what you're getting into, $96 for fingerprint check, dont remember what the dmv charged, then for twic is like 129.75.. though I read somewhere they knocked the price down to $128 I know they knocked off $1.75 so you can buy a soda and maybe a small candybar while waiting in line..
pattyj Thanks this. -
30 questions. I just took mine and passed. I did 25 right and 2 wrong before it just shuts down and says congratulations you pass. Think you have to score 80% or better. I studied for mine right here on the practice tests and took two days for me to be confident enough to go. Also read my book from school to get the info about the manifest and what not. Deffiantly the hardest test hands down.
pattyj Thanks this. -
No. It is not open book. In Arkansas they use a computer. You click on the right answers and they are not real tricky. Study the book they give you as all the answers are in it. When I took mine I didn't even get to the end of the test. When I got the amount of correct answers that is needed to pass the test stopped. Study well and good luck with the test.

this site has practice tests that you can take. I did 2 a day or more every day for about 2 months and had no problem whatsoever. Good luck....and thanks for the laugh....
