Looking forward to it! I expect it to be 3 weeks training plus 3 days orientation and if there's no training driver available until after Christmas I can go home for the holiday. If anyone else is attending this class post here!
Where are you headed ,where do they train ? I hope all goes well for you, I have heard more bad than good about this company on here but some time I think maybe just unhappy employee's I am living in Korea right now but home in the states is Kokomo, In so keep us posted how things are going
Heading to Cedar Rapids for training. I know there's a lot of negativity about almost every company that hires and trains newbies but we all have to start somewhere and pay our dues. What most complainers don't acknowledge is that with CRST there is absolutely no out-of-pocket costs for the training and in exchange they only expect an 8-month commitment - not a bad deal for anyone starting from square one. Yeah I agree, I seen a lot of bad stuff and good stuff about all these companies. Yeah, Kokomo, Indiana, Lafayette and born in Crawfordsville. Keep us posted !!!
After 3 months of working for CRST,you will ask yourself,why didnt I just pay out of pocket? A 5k bill will seem like a bargain to free yourself from the enslavement your signing up for,, Because you will be on the wrong side of the stick..
There are better companies that will pay for training. Plus CRAY is primarily a team company so if you like teams and not be paid much go with CRST. Just trying to help you make a better choice and not one you'll regret.
